TLN Launches New "Community" Groups

The new TLN.org site has helped us reorganize lots of information, including all of the different Groups we have in TLN. You can navigate to Groups by clicking on the icon on the TLN.org homepage, or login to the site to view your current Groups.

On the site you will find Groups pages for Committees, Interest Groups, and new Communities. The TLN Steering Committee has helped us organize these groups, with Committees doing defined work, Interest Groups for networking and forum facilitation, and Communities with a purpose of building supportive connections among members of shared identities.

Some existing Committees may want to review their current work makeup and determine if they have defined work or if they would rather become an Interest Group. It will be up to the group to determine which category they should fall under. New Interest Groups are now forming based on member requests.

The newest type of group we are excited to provide space for is Communities. These groups are private spaces and members must ask to join them. The first Community launched is for People of Color, and it was formed earlier this year. They have adopted the name Vibrant Voices. With the new website we are now launching a second Community for LGBTQIA+ members. If you have an idea for a new Community please Contact Us!

All Groups have access to make posts, message each other, share in forum discussions, and more. Please explore all of the Groups and find the ones that are right for you.
