After completing the RFP process, including examination of written responses and product demonstrations, The Library Network will be moving forward in contract negotiations with LocalHop. Project planning will begin this summer. Project launch is scheduled for Spring 2023.
LocalHop was selected, in part, due to the following determining factors:
-Demonstrated ability of the Local Hop product to meet the current and future needs of the Michigan Activity Pass program.
-Opportunity for development partnership between The Library Network and the expansive team at LocalHop.
-Pricing for implementation and ongoing contracting.
-Local familiarity of vendor with many libraries in Michigan.
-Integration of the product with other familiar LocalHop products and the ability to integrate the system on local library websites.
