TLN Board Approves Committee Work

TLN Board approves proposals from two committees for further work for the cooperative. The Substitute Pool Services Committee and Workplace Climate Study RFP Committee respectively have sent recommendations to the TLN Board to approve the findings of their work. The Substitute Pool Services Committee had the following action items approved: TLN will move forward with planning for offering a
Substitute Services Pool.
TLN will work on a multi-year plan to develop new
Employment Services, with Substitute Services Pool being phase one of a suite
of services.
TLN will purchase software (or have software developed) to
offer an identified range of employment services.
TLN will identify permanent staff that would be able to work
on and sustain Employment Services. The Workplace Climate Study RFP Committee had the following action items approved: TLN will move forward with the project as feasible bids were received and the
project is anticipated by several libraries and individuals. TLN selects the highest-scored bid in our RFP review process, University of
Michigan, for contracting. TLN will form a new committee to work with University of Michigan on the project.
A new call for committee members will take place in 2024.
